This shot was taken in 2007 during our Christmas trips to Lebanon. The teple is situated in Baakbeck to the norther part of Lebanon near the Easter border. The site known as the Heliopolis was one of the largest in the Roman Empire and now contains the best preserved Roman Temples in the world !!! AWESOME place to visit.
This is a shot we took randomly of one of the open altars. The detail in the craftsmanship is beautiful and the temples themselves are MASSIVE!!
